Description

The Leveret is a charming period holiday apartment in the historic conservation village of Aberlady. The property has been recently refurbished to a high standard. 

The property is one bedroomed with a separate kitchen, sitting/dining room and shower room. The kitchen is brand new with new appliances. There is an induction cooker, fridge with freezer box, counter dishwasher and also a washer dryer. There is also a toasty wood burning stove with free logs provided. There is a compact shared garden area to the rear which catches the evening sun. The property is accessed through a shared vennel. 

The sleeping arrangements are very flexible with up to 4 people able to sleep in a king size or two twin beds in the bedroom. There is also a double sofa bed in the sitting room and a cot can be provided. 

Luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and towels are provided. There is also complimentary tea and coffee and a welcome gift from the hostess (will vary but likely to be one of craft beer, homemade jam, cake, scones, tablet).

The friendly and approachable owners live next door so can be easily contacted for advice or any problems (we very much hope that there will be none!). 

The Leveret is in on the high street of the beautiful village of Averlady. It is within throwing distance of an excellent Indian restaurant and a very hospitable pub. There is also a well equipped post office over the road. Further down the high street there is Ducks restaurant and pub and the village shop. Slightly further away is the Bothy farm shop and cafe and the Craigielaw golf shop and restaurant. 

The village has two well regarded golf courses, Craigielaw and Kilspindie. Aberlady is in the heart of Scotland's golf coast. The coast road stretches from Musselburgh to Dunbar with 22 golf courses along it. Courses suit all levels with championship courses, kid's courses and everything in between. 

Aberlady is also home to the well renowned Aberlady nature reserve and 3 miles from a train station with regular trains to Edinburgh which take just 15 minutes. 

Children are very welcome and a cot and high hair can be provided on request. 

Well behaved pets considered for additional cleaning fee.
